Darin Rowe
Darin Rowe is the national president of Taylor Morrison Home Corporation’s Build-To-Rent (“BTR”) brand called Yardly. Taylor Morrison is a leading national homebuilder and developer based in Scottsdale, Arizona with 20 geographic for-sale housing divisions across the country.
Since 2019, Taylor Morrison has continued to evolve its for-rent real estate strategy that blends multi-family apartment and traditional for-sale home elements to create a diverse housing offering that has sparked unquestioned consumer demand. This new and underserved “lower density multifamily” segment has been successful attracting residents who aspire for something more than apartments or no longer require the space or obligation of a traditional home. A key differentiator of these amenitized communities are the individual backyards for each home, hence the name Yardly. Therefore, Yardly elevates the lifestyles of both humans and beloved pets.
Given Taylor Morrison’s synergies in both the for-sale and for-rent segments, Yardly offers a program which affords its renters an opportunity to save on the future purchase of a Taylor Morrison home.
The current Yardly portfolio includes 7,000+ homesites across 30+ owned communities across Arizona, Texas, Florida and North Carolina with additional expansion markets under consideration.
Mr. Rowe has 30+ years of experience in the homebuilding space having diverse cross-functional operational experience with major public builders such as Meritage, Richmond American and Pulte prior to Taylor Morrison. Positions have ranged from Finance and Land Acquisition to complete operational oversight in Arizona, Michigan, California and Texas. Darin’s focus is on continuing the ramp of Yardly with a growing land pipeline and projects underway that have solidified Yardly as a top industry leader in the space.
Darin holds a BBA from the University of Michigan Business School earning High Honors as well as an MBA from Arizona State University earning the same distinction. Mr. Rowe is also a CPA and holds an Arizona real estate license.
Taylor Morrison, with a rich history spanning 100 years, is rooted in the trusted relationships they establish with its customers. The homebuilder has earned several national accolades, including Newsweek’s America’s Most Responsible Companies and America’s Greenest Companies lists, U.S. News & World Report's Best Companies to Work For list, inclusion on the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI) for the last five years, Hearthstone's 2021 BUILDER Humanitarian Award, inclusion on the Fortune 500 list since 2021 and America's Most Trusted® Home Builder for the last nine years running.
