Alyson Harter is a partner at Williams Mullen, PLLC, which is an AMLaw 200 full-service law firm with seven offices and more than 250 attorneys. Her practice is focused on private securities offerings. Alyson represents and advises sponsors and issuers in the structuring and launching of various types of equity and debt offerings, including Delaware statutory trusts, closed-end funds, opportunity zone funds, debt funds and real estate investment trusts. She also assists clients with all aspects of corporate governance matters, SEC compliance reporting and state securities regulation matters. Alyson received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Hollins University in 1996 and her Juris Doctor from Tulane Law School in 2001. She began her career in mergers and acquisitions with a firm in Zurich, Switzerland, which is now a member of the international law firm Eversheds, and previously practiced in Atlanta, Georgia and subsequently with a national law firm in Richmond, Virginia.
